General
Edit your organisation's profile, branding, example prompts, and data retention settings
Here you can edit your organisation's general information, add example prompts shown to all users, and configure automatic chat deletion for the organisation.
Organisation name and AI name
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Organisation name | The legal or display name of your organisation |
| AI name | The name shown as the AI's identity across the platform (e.g. "DeutschlandGPT") |
Both fields are required.
Logos
Upload separate logos for light mode and dark mode. These are displayed in the header and wherever your organisation branding appears in the platform.
Organisation description
A free-text field (up to 1,024 characters) that provides contextual background for all AI responses across the organisation. Use it to describe your organisation's business, target audience, or any context that should influence how the AI communicates with your team.
This description is automatically included as context in every conversation for all organisation members. Keep it concise and focused on information relevant to your day-to-day work.
Example prompts
Add up to 10 suggested prompts (up to 2,048 characters each). Up to four are shown at random above the input field in new chats for all users in your organisation, a quick way to guide your team toward common use cases.
Mobile app access
Toggle whether users in your organisation can access DeutschlandGPT via the mobile app. Disabling this prevents mobile logins for all members.
Web search default
Toggle whether web search is enabled by default for new conversations across your organisation. This setting controls the starting state of every new conversation — it is a ceiling, not a default users can override for good:
- Off: every new conversation starts without web search. Users can switch it on for the conversation they are in; the next conversation starts without web search again.
- On: every new conversation starts with web search. A user who switches it off for themselves stays without web search until they switch it back on.
To deny web search to certain employees entirely, remove the Use web search permission from their role (Organisation → Roles). The toggle then disappears for them completely.
Enable new integrations automatically
Controls what happens to an integration DeutschlandGPT publishes in future.
- On (default): a newly published integration is available to your organisation right away. If you do not want it, switch it off afterwards under Organisation → Integrations.
- Off: a newly published integration starts blocked and only becomes usable once an administrator releases it under Organisation → Integrations.
Switching this off is not retroactive: every integration already available to your organisation at that moment stays enabled — including the ones you never explicitly released. The setting only governs what arrives afterwards.
Your organisation's own connections (an MCP server or WebDAV server you added yourself) are exempt and work immediately — you create those, we do not publish them.
Automatic chat deletion
Set the maximum retention period after which chats are automatically deleted across the organisation. Individual users can choose a shorter interval in their personal Data Storage settings, but cannot exceed the limit set here.
Delete organisation
Deleting an organisation is permanent and cannot be undone. It cannot be done self-service. To start a deletion, click Contact support.
Deleting your organisation permanently removes all users, data, chats, and settings. This action cannot be reversed. Contact support only if you are certain.
