Add-ins
Deploy DeutschlandGPT as an add-in inside Microsoft Office across your organisation
Bring DeutschlandGPT into Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. This page gives you a manifest URL and step-by-step deployment instructions for each available add-in.
Requires the general_enterprise_settings update permission. Only non-personal organisations can
open this page, and each add-in is gated by its own feature flag: it appears only once enabled for
your organisation.
Deploy an add-in
Every enabled add-in shows up as a card. Expand a card to work through the deployment:
- Manifest URL: a read-only link to the add-in's
manifest.xml. Copy it and paste it into the Microsoft 365 admin center to roll the add-in out organisation-wide. - Prerequisites: what must be in place before you start, namely an active Microsoft 365 tenant, the right admin role, and add-ins enabled in the tenant settings.
- Deployment steps: numbered instructions for deploying via the Microsoft 365 admin center, using Integrated apps or Centralised Deployment.
- After install: what members need to do once the add-in reaches their accounts.
- Remove: how to pull the add-in back out of the admin center if you need to.
Who can manage add-ins
Access to add-in settings follows the role permissions you configure under Roles. Members without the right permission cannot view or copy the manifest URL.
