Users

Manage all users and their roles within your organisation

Manage everyone in your organisation and the roles they hold from a single table.

License count

The card at the top shows your current licence usage (e.g. 10/10). Each active user consumes one licence. Once the limit is reached, you can still invite people, but they cannot use the chat until a licence frees up or you raise the limit.

Increasing your licence limit:

  • Business plan: click Manage seats to adjust your licence count on the billing page.
  • Enterprise plan: contact your account team to request additional licences.

If you see a "Licence limit reached" warning, existing members without a licence can log in but are blocked from sending messages until the limit is raised.

User list

All organisation members are shown in a single table. Active and inactive members appear together; use the table actions to activate or deactivate a member. Pending invitations are listed in a separate card below the table and can be resent or revoked individually.

Use the search bar to filter by name or email.

Inviting users

Click Invite user to send an email invitation to a new member.

If your organisation uses SSO (Single Sign-On), user invitations are not available. Users are provisioned automatically through your identity provider when they first sign in. Manage user access in your identity provider instead.

Editing a user

Click a user's name in the table to open their profile. You can update:

  • First name and Last name
  • Roles: assign or remove roles via checkboxes (e.g. Admin, User)

The email address is read-only and cannot be changed from this view. Roles are defined under Roles.

Deactivating and removing users

Use the menu next to a user for additional actions such as deactivating or removing them from the organisation.
