AI Usage
Track how much of your monthly AI budget you have used, per day and per model.
Settings → AI Usage tells you how much of your monthly AI budget you have used, when it resets, and where it went. All values are shown as a share of your budget. The ring in the chat input shows the same percentage while you work.
Track Your Monthly Budget
A progress bar shows how much of your monthly limit you have used this month, and the line below it names the date it resets. The heading names your plan or, if your organization shares one budget across all members, the organization's monthly budget. If your plan has no fixed limit, the page says your usage follows the fair use policy instead.
What you see near the limit depends on your situation:
- Approaching the limit: a notice appears.
- Limit reached: depending on your plan and organization, you keep chatting with a restricted set of lower-cost models until the reset, or pay-as-you-go takes over with full model access. The notice tells you which applies.
- Personal plans: Upgrade your plan takes you to a higher plan.
- Organization members: the page tells you to ask your administrators for more budget or for pay-as-you-go. Administrators get a Manage members button instead.

Usage by model lists each model's share of the budget in the current billing period, together with the number of messages, searches, images or minutes it was used for. This is the quickest way to spot an expensive model you did not mean to use. See Models and Limits.
Read the Daily Cost Chart
Cost per day shows each day's usage as a share of your monthly budget. Usage billed through pay-as-you-go appears as its own segment in the bar. Use the date range picker above the chart to choose a different period.
Pay-as-you-go
With pay-as-you-go active, you keep working with all models after reaching your monthly limit, and extra usage is billed per token. A second bar shows how much of your pay-as-you-go budget you have used this month. In an organization, your administrators set this up for you. Personal accounts manage it on this page, and extra usage is paid from a prepaid balance you top up there.
