Integrations

Connect external services so the AI can search and use their content in your chats

Connect a service and the AI can answer straight from your own data: Confluence articles, Jira tickets, emails, calendar events, and more. Once an integration is connected and enabled in the search tools, DeutschlandGPT queries it automatically while answering you.

Connect an integration

Click Connect next to a service to start the OAuth flow. After you authorise it, the button switches to Disconnect.

IntegrationWhat it enables
ConfluenceFind answers directly in your Confluence articles
JiraAsk questions about tickets and projects without opening Jira
SharePointLet the AI find the right documents in SharePoint for you
Outlook CalendarCheck appointments and availability without opening your calendar
Outlook EmailFind answers directly across all your emails
Microsoft TeamsRetrieve important information from your chats
NotionGet answers based on your entire Notion database
Google DriveUse files and documents directly in chats

Sharing integrations

For connectors you create yourself (for example an MCP server like Statista or a WebDAV connection) there are two separate kinds of sharing:

  • Share the server/connector (definition): recipients see the integration in their list and can use it with their own credentials. Share it from the integration's "…" menu in the overview.
  • Share the credentials (API key): recipients use your key without ever seeing it. Share it per connection from the "…" menu on the integration's detail page.

Example: you create the Statista MCP server and share the server so your team can see it — and also share the API key so everyone uses the organisation's credentials without viewing them. The two shares are managed independently and can be revoked at any time.

Connect Microsoft services (SharePoint, Outlook, Teams)

The Microsoft 365 integrations sign in through Microsoft OAuth. Depending on your organisation's tenant settings, connecting them can take an extra step.

Admin consent may be required. If your Microsoft 365 tenant restricts third-party app access, an Azure AD administrator has to grant consent for DeutschlandGPT before you can connect. Contact your IT or Microsoft 365 administrator if the OAuth flow fails or shows a "Need admin approval" screen.

In regular chat, Microsoft integrations request only the minimum read access for the specific service, and DeutschlandGPT never writes to or modifies your Microsoft 365 data. If agent mode is enabled for an integration, though, the agent also gets tools that can create, change, or delete data in the connected service — for example sending Teams messages, sending emails through Outlook, or uploading and deleting files in SharePoint.

Fix an integration that stopped working

When a connected integration stops returning results or throws an authentication error, its access token has usually expired or been revoked. To fix it, click Disconnect and then Connect again. That starts a fresh OAuth flow and issues a new token.

An integration commonly breaks when:

  • Your organisation revoked the app's permissions in the identity provider.
  • You changed your password or re-enrolled in MFA for that service.
  • The OAuth token expired after a long stretch of inactivity.
  • An administrator removed DeutschlandGPT from the list of approved apps.
