Create skills in the chat
The AI writes a skill for you. It stays off until you activate it yourself.
You can ask the AI in the chat to write a skill for you, for example "turn this into a skill" or "create a skill for checking our quotes". The AI writes the instructions with a name and a description and can add helper files such as a checklist, a template or a script.
The skill stays off until you activate it
The AI saves the skill as your own private skill and leaves it switched off. DeutschlandGPT asks above the input field, with the name, the description, the files and the full SKILL.md to expand. In the answer, the step only says Saved, waiting for activation, then Activated or Declined.
- Activate skill switches it on. It applies from your next new chat.
- Decline keeps it saved and switched off. You can delete it in Settings under Skills.
Only your click switches a skill on. The AI cannot activate or share it, and it cannot change system skills or other people's skills. That way, a document you paste into the chat cannot slip permanent instructions to the AI.
Changing a skill in the chat
The AI can change skills you created yourself. If the skill was active, the change switches it off again until you activate the new version above the input field.
If you do not see this option, your role lacks the permission to create skills.
