Prompt Templates
Create reusable text snippets and drop them into any chat with a keyboard shortcut.
Prompt templates are reusable text snippets you insert into any chat by typing a short key. They save you from retyping the same instructions over and over.
This feature must be enabled for your account. If this page is not visible, it has not been activated for you yet.
Create a template
Click New to open the creation dialog and fill in two fields:
- Key: a short, unique identifier without spaces, for example
translate-to-english. Typing this key in the chat input inserts the template. - Value: the full text the key expands to.
Save to add the template to your list.
Edit a template
Click any template card to open it in the editor. Change the key or value, then save.
Delete a template
Open a template card and click Delete. This cannot be undone.
