Organization settings in the app
Manage your organization's settings directly in the desktop app, with the same sections and permissions as in the browser
Administrators no longer need the browser for their organization's settings. The desktop app has its own Organization entry in the product switcher, and every section opens inside the app.
Opening it
Choose Organization in the product switcher at the top of the sidebar (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+K). The entry only appears if your role may open at least one section. The page lists exactly the sections you are allowed to see, so two administrators with different roles can see different lists.
If your organization works under professional secrecy (§203), every section shows a Professional secrecy (§203) badge next to the organization name.
The sections
The sidebar groups the sections the same way as in the browser:
| Group | Sections |
|---|---|
| General | Organization profile, Notifications |
| Members & access | Members, Groups, Roles, App access |
| AI & models | AI Models, Chat defaults, Skill packages, Glossary, Tags, Office templates, Learning |
| Tools & integrations | Integrations, Tool policies, Add-ins, Sandbox network |
| Data | Data & retention |
| Security & compliance | Sign-in & SSO, SCIM Provisioning, Professional secrecy (§203), Audit Log |
| Billing & usage | Licenses, Billing, Usage |
Some of these sections only appear when the matching feature is switched on for your organization.
What each section does, and who may change it, is the same as in the browser. The organization pages of this documentation describe them, for example Organization profile, Members, Roles, AI models, Sign-in & SSO, Data & retention, Licenses and Billing.
What you may change
The app shows and changes the same data as the browser and applies the same rules. The server checks every change, so the app cannot grant you more than your role allows.
