Work through courses, complete modules and earn certificates — the learning platform from a participant's point of view
The learning platform puts training where the work already happens. Courses are made of modules containing videos, text, files and knowledge questions; passing every required module earns a verifiable certificate.
Available once the learning platform is switched on for your organization and your role holds the
learning_courses:use permission. If "Learning" is missing from the product switcher, one of the

Finding courses
Learning lists every course assigned to you or to one of your groups. Each card shows the title, its length and your progress. Opening one shows the module list and where to start.
Courses are written and maintained centrally by DeutschlandGPT; which of them reach you is decided by your administrators through assignments.
Working through modules
A course is a sequence of modules that build on each other. A module can hold text, images, videos, downloads, FAQ sections and knowledge questions.
Every module carries a status:

Optional modules never lock anything: skipping one does not block the course. Some courses allow a free order — there no required module is locked, so you choose where to begin. The certificate still requires every required module to be passed in the end.
Videos
If a required module contains a video we host ourselves, at least 80 % of it must have been watched before the module can be submitted. Skipping ahead does not count. Videos embedded from external platforms are not gated — we cannot measure playback there.
Knowledge questions
Questions are single or multiple choice. Grading happens on the server after you submit, and only then are the correct answers revealed. Each module sets its own pass mark.
A failed module can be retaken. The latest attempt is the one that counts — even if it scores lower than an earlier one.
Asking questions
Every module has a way to ask a question. It reaches the course maintainers, and their answer arrives as a notification. At the end of a course you can also leave feedback on it.
Certificates
The certificate is issued once every required module of a course has been passed. Optional modules play no part in it. A course with no required modules issues no certificate.
The certificate carries your overall score — the mean across the latest attempts at all required modules. Retaking a module later updates that score on the next download; the issue date and the verification code stay as they were.
You can:
- download the certificate as a PDF,
- share its verification link — a public page, no sign-in, where anyone can confirm it is genuine,
- add it to your LinkedIn profile in one click.
Required courses
Your organization can mark a course as required. Such a course greets you with a prompt when you sign in.
You may postpone it twice; after that the prompt can no longer be dismissed until the course is finished. Once postponed it stays quiet for 24 hours rather than reappearing on every page change.
If your organization marks a course as required again later, that count starts over.
