Chat is your entry point to DeutschlandGPT. You write a message, pick a model, and get the answer in real time. Every request runs on GDPR-compliant infrastructure in Europe.
The left sidebar gives you access to everything important: a new chat, custom apps, integrations, projects, and your history.
Start a Conversation
Pick an AI model from the model picker at the top of the input area. If you are unsure, leave Automatic selected.
The answer streams in word by word as the model writes. Just keep the conversation going: the model retains the full context of every message in the chat.
Instead of typing, you can also dictate your message using the microphone. DeutschlandGPT turns what you say into text that you can still edit before sending.
Working with Messages
Hover over a message and DeutschlandGPT reveals the actions that fit it.
For your own messages:

Edit: Change a message you already sent and have the answer regenerated.

Copy: Copy your message text to the clipboard.
For the model's answers:

Regenerate: Request an alternative answer to the same question.

Copy: Copy the answer to the clipboard.

Read aloud: Have the answer read to you.

Report: Flag a problematic answer for review.

Branch conversation: Continue from this point in a new chat without changing the original.
Tools and Attachments
A model can do more than produce text. From the Tools menu below the input field it searches the web, generates images, reads uploaded files, or reaches into connected apps like SharePoint and Confluence. It runs executable code directly, and interactive outputs appear as an artifact in a dedicated panel beside the chat.

Manage Conversations
Use the toolbar at the top of a chat to manage the current conversation:

Pin: Keep an important conversation at the top of the sidebar.

Share: Hand a conversation over as a read-only link.

Download: Export the conversation as a file.

Rename: Click the conversation title and change it in place.

Delete: Right-click a conversation in the sidebar to remove it.
Use the search at the top of the sidebar to find past conversations by content and jump straight to areas like custom apps, document folders, or settings.
